Af first glance, RX/TX is only an abbreviation in the technical specifications of Hama’s DIR 3510 SCBTX digital radio and DIT 2105 SBTX hi-fi tuner. In practice, you quickly come to appreciate this Bluetooth technology. For it means that audio signals can be sent as well as received. On the one hand, music is streamed from a smartphone, tablet or computer to the digital radio, or the tuner, via a Bluetooth receiver (RX); on the other hand, it can be sent from here on to other Bluetooth devices via a Bluetooth transmitter (TX). So you are not bound to a particular room, but can, for example, listen to the same music in two different rooms via headphones or speaker box.

He has been an authorised representative and member of the board since April 2018, and now heads the international company together with Christoph Thomas, chairman of the board. “In the past two years, Christian Sokcevic has given us the benefit of his many years of management experience, and has been a guiding force in the company’s strategic focus,” says Christoph Thomas on the appointment of the new managing director. The latter emphasises that he looks forward to working with Christoph Thomas and the authorised representatives on the common focus and management of the Hama group.

MeerHama gebruikte al heel vroeg meettoestellen van hoge kwaliteit in hun productontwikkeling. Daardoor maakten ze significante vorderingen op het vlak van processoren voor videomontage. De AV Processor 132 en zijn grote broer AV Processor 126 waren sneller, meer precies en minder kwetsbaar voor fouten dan de standaardversies van de concurrentie. Het Duitse blad "Video Magazin" testten de 126 en 132 processoren in november 1993. Ze ontvingen de quotering "Excellent" in iedere testcategorie.

The management of the accessories specialist Hama, based in Monheim, is restructured in part on 1 April 2018, and now includes two new authorised representatives, Christian Sokcevic and Roland Handschiegel. Christian Sokcevic takes over strategic company development. He is responsible for the continuation of company growth and the opening of new market segments. Roland Handschiegel is responsible for Logistics, Packaging and Facility Management. His goal is to perfect internal processes, in order to offer even more service to customers. A look behind the scenes on the occasion of the family day
MeerMore than 5000 visitors seized the opportunity to look around at the Hama premises and to see what is going on behind the scenes of the internationally successful company. The approximately 1500 staff members presented their workplaces to their relatives and took part in tours through the logistics centre. In the Hama distribution centre that is situated in the Dresdner Straße the visitors mainly concentrated on the showrooms that are fitted out all year round. Where otherwise retailers inform themselves about trends in technology and new products, the guests were astonished at the comprehensive product range of the company based in Monheim.
A beer tent with culinary delights and a comprehensive children’s programme with a jungle gym, a jumping castle, a clown that made balloons and a make-up station for children rounded off the successful family day.

MeerWith effect from 30 September 2015 the families Thomas and Hanke, represented by Christoph Thomas and Rudolph Hanke, transferred all their limited partner’s shares on the holding, the “Hama Hamaphot Hanke & Thomas GmbH & Co KG” to the “Adolph and Christoph Thomas Foundation” and to the “Martin and Rudolph Hanke Foundation”.

De CallBlocker verschijnt op de markt
MeerDe CallBlocker laat toe om ervoor te zorgen dat bepaalde nummers niet gebeld konden worden. Je kan erg gemakkelijk gelijk welk nummer blokkeren. Bijvoorbeeld nummers met speciale tarieven of buitenlandse nummers. Terwijl gelijkaardige producten je enkel toestaan om bepaalde nummers toe te laten, zag Hama het werkelijke probleem: enkel een paar nummers moeten geblokkeerd worden; de overgrote meerderheid van de nummers moet nog steeds toegelaten worden.

An existing company in Breitenfurt near Vienna is renamed: Hama Technics Handels-GmbH in Austria is created as a subsidiary of Hama. Hama Austria opens its doors with 18 employees in 1998. The number of employees has tripled by 2014. From the outset, it has its own warehouse and other departments such as sales, product management, purchasing etc.

MeerHama heeft nogmaals bevestigd dat zij een leidende innovator zijn in de wereld van accessoires voor mobiele telefonie. De Office Set II is een bureaulader voor de batterij(-en) van uw mobiele telefoon. Dit betekent dat de batterij niet leegloopt wanneer je belt. Dit toestel functioneert ook als handsfree set. Dankzij de externe antenne zijn verbindingsproblemen definitief voorbij.

MeerAgami NV
Luc Heyerick en Peter Van den Bossche richtten in maart 1993 AGAMI NV op. Dit gebeurde na de management-buy-out van de vroegere firma Fotronic in Braine-l'Alleud. Agami NV startte aanvankelijk met de distributie van de merken Hama, Konica en Reflecta in België en Luxemburg. Door de jaren heen werd het productassortiment versterkt met verscheidene nieuwe merken.

Het Videocut 200 videomonteersysteem, dat een bestseller zou worden, is gelanceerd. De gentegreerde mixer laat toe om het originele geluid in- en uit te faden.
De Videocut 200 en zijn opvolgers zijn bestsellers geworden. De competitie probeerde om het videomonteersysteem te kopiren. Zonder veel succes.
Hama blijft trouw aan zijn roots
Een professioneel statiefsysteem ontwikkeld door Hama combineert de nieuwe innovaties met de traditionele sterktes van Hama.
Hama ontwikkelde de "Delta Pro" statievenserie als een modulair systeem, de eerste in zijn soort. Dat liet Hama toe om betaalbare statieven aan te bieden aan hobbyisten en semiprofessionele fotografen die professionele resultaten willen.

Voor de VHS-terugspoeler moesten videocassettes altijd teruggespoeld worden in de camera. En bij dat snelle terugspoelen werd al eens een videocassettedeck vernield. De VHS-terugspoeler was dus ideaal voor wie meer zorg besteedde aan zijn camera! Gebruikers konden hun cassettes terugspelen zonder camera en verlengden zo de levensduur van hun camera.

Het team van 80 man verhuist naar onze huidig administratief gebouw (Plant II) in de Dresdner Strasse. Plant II bevat zijn eigen productiemogelijkheden, magazijn, verkoop, product management en administratie.

Hama ontwikkelde en produceerde de allereerste automatische filmsplitser. Hij laat de monteur toe om beide kanten van de film te splitsen in 1 beweging. Zo worden snel de scenes gevormd die in de uiteindelijke film gemonteerd worden.

Bakelieten P56 verschijnt op de markt
MeerHamas camera sets a new benchmark
De P56 camera was gebaseerd op de beroemde Pouva Start Bakeliet camera van de firma Karl Pouva AG. Als officile licentiehouder, hermaakte Hama niet alleen deze camera, maar bracht ook een fors verbeterde versie op de markt. De meest in het oog springende eigenschap was een lens-houder die losgevezen kon worden. De camera bezit ook flashsynchronisatie en een flash-voet. Hij is ook voorzien van een ingebouwde viewfinder. Het optische element bestaat uit 3 lenzen met kleurcoating. De P56 Bakeliet-camera blijft extreem populair bij verzamelaars.

De eerste Photokina-beurs opende zijn deuren op 19 mei 1950 en Hamaphot was natuurlijk ook aanwezig. Hamaphot stelde kaders, laboratorium-accessoires, diaslides en poederflashtoestellen voor.
Photokina in het begin
Photokina profileerde zich al snel als de grootste en innovatiefste beurs voor fotobeurs. Terwijl het vakbeurs-gedeelte exclusief Duits in 1959, met 300 Duitse bedrijven. Het fotogedeelte werd al sneller internationaal. Zelfs toen bezochten 75.000 bezoekers de beurszalen in Keulen. Vandaag verwelkomt Photokina ongeveer 185.000 bezoekers.
Innovatie voorop in de firma
MeerDe samenwerking met lokale handelaren en de moeilijke levering van grondstoffen, leidt ertoe dat Hama al snel begint met de verdeling van accessoires. Zo lanceerde ze het eerste gesynchroniseerde poederflash-toestel, houten diaboxen, statieven en andere accessoires in 1948.

Hij en zijn vrouw met 4 kinderen volgen hem van het door Sovjets bezette Dresden naar het "Amerikaanse" Monheim. Hij rijdt persoonlijk met de fiets naar leveranciers in Zuid-Duitsland en handelde in borstels, rubber, papier, etc.
